Yet another release announcing a new addition to the Yoruba family. This time we bring you sounds from deep down unda. Melbourne bred Mike Steva, long time champion of deep house in his native land brings us a stunning debut release of three very different vibes. We kick off with New Beginning, a heavy beat filled bass driven percussive ditty fit for the dance floor an beyond. Followed by the soulful and promising Moment In Time, with its bossa driven groove, flowing fender Rhodes and sultry voice of veteran Georg Levin. This one proves to be a timeless classic.
In the final stage, we conclude with Chiko, bouncing pianos and proof that there is more happening than the idea of bush people and kangaroos. We are proud to introduce to you the Macedonian prince of Yoruba. As always we hope u enjoy and play it loud!
Blessings

My god, what an absolutely incredible Suite. I'll admit, I've struggled to get into Pharoah Sanders due to diving headfirst into some of his most challenging catalogue and that never worked. This is the perfect place to restart. Floating Points is new for me and I can honestly say I've never heard synthesizer music this lush and organic before. the LSO is just perfect. This is one of those albums that any serious music fan needs in their life. The perfect swan song for the great Pharaoh! 5/5 ClassyMusicSnob
