about

Returning for remixes part two, po-lar-i-ty lends its stems to an array of talent to
Convey a different take on the originals. First up to bat is Fred Everything’s Spaceship Earth Remix, taking us str8 to the dance floor and back with jarring claps and stabs, infused with lovely rhythmic “spaceship earth” vocals touches. De.xx goes deep and dark with his rendition of Drag while the Nawlin’s Ivaylo Ashe Remix take it to the jungle with rubbery percussions and haunting pads. Resolution gets treatment from Toronto’s own DNH founder Nick Holder. Here we go trippy head nod affair with keys dancing alongside the sweet sounds of Anne Wirz. Villa Royale gets a few hands on deck in this package, starting with Stan Zeff’s soulful afro appeal. It Was All Just A Dream gets a rather unique piano laced gem from Casamena while Reggie Dokes brings Transparency into year 2099 with its arpeggiated tinged deepness. The title cut We Are Brothers ft Leeto B gets buried in the sand with Afefe Iku’s distinct sonics and beats while po-lar-i-ty’s own Burlie Mac demands a beach bar for this Transparency remix. With the flute of Han Litz setting the mood, Burile’s arrangement nails it! Newcomer Two Legs, comes in to settle the ep down a bit with his triggering ready for the festival Drag remix. We finalize this endeavor with Coflo’s undeniable floor wrecker and second hand at Villa Royale. This one made for the dancers and music lovers alike. Bottom line, Yoruba continues our lockdown with the freedom of good music. We are forever grateful for your support and hope you enjoy the efforts made to create this project.
