Osunlade returns with his first release of the year. Black Woman Cry is the first single from his forthcoming “Spectrum” album. With intent to be a club banger, Black Woman Cry delivers serious heat on the beats here. Pulsating stabs form the atmosphere while the haunting sounds of women’s screams of the worlds pain. The B Side, Brand New Hope is a happier affair where vocal samples create the song. Spectrum is probably the most electronic Osunlade project to date. Created in 2019 during the first lockdown but held until now, this forthcoming offering delivers something for every house genre and scene.
